“So it’s a journey. It’s like better than a book.”

Seeds don’t describe thinking. They transfer it.

The line under the title is published on his public wiki (wiki-dna-public, the SEED principles page). The wiki’s own audit traces it to a February 2026 report and could not date where it was first said, so it is shown here as published, not as his words.

Film · made by Bob, 28 October 2026. The seed, its paths and the choices are drawn to show the idea; no real seed is shown.

What it means · written by Bob

Most of what a business knows lives in one head. When it is written down, it becomes a summary: someone skims it, and the thinking that produced it stays behind. A seed is Mordechai's answer to that. Instead of a description of an idea, you get the idea in a form you can walk through.

What it means. A seed is one small, plain file you paste into any AI chat. You type "unpack", and the AI becomes a guide through the idea: it offers a few paths, you choose one, and the next step depends on what you chose. You do not read about the thinking. You go through it, at your own pace, in your own order.

Why it matters to you. Every company has knowledge that only one person carries: how the founder decides, why the process is the way it is. A document describes it and is forgotten. A seed lets the next person walk the same path, ask their own questions on the way, and come out understanding it, without the founder in the room.

Where it comes from. He described it in November 2025 as a garden of seeds: files on a simple website that you can download, copy, or share as a link. Three weeks later he added the growing: the more a person talks to a seed, the further it grows, so the next visit shows how much they understood.

Where it stands. He built and tried several in early 2026, one of them carrying his whole thesis. Those files are private today, so this page explains the idea rather than handing you one.

How sure. An idea he has built and tried, not a proven method. Whether a seed teaches better than a good document has not been measured; it is his bet that a path you walk beats a page you skim.

“Okay, that’s better, but also think about this. It’s like dropping somebody into a curated context. Most people don’t have the creativity to ever get into it. And if I could choose your own adventure, because the seed, JSON, can actually define how to interact with the person, and then the person chooses how they want to interact. So it’s a journey. It’s like better than a book.”

“no i want to imagine a seed garden of json files on a simple website with ability to 1. download a json 2. copy the text 3. copy a url of a json and imagine literally a garden of seeds related this could be the new novel we were dreaming of hours ago what you think”

“Imagine if everybody, if a human being had a seed garden and it’d go in and there’d just be seeds and we choose which seed to pick up. And as he speaks more to the seed, it starts to grow. It starts to germinate, it goes through the process. Eventually it can turn into a tree, on the basis of how he interacts with it and how much he understands it. … So the next time a person came to their seed garden, they could actually see how much they understood.”

The opening (“Another thing where I was thinking about over Shabbos”) is left out, and where the dots are, a passage on how it could be built is left out. The record’s “treat” is read as “tree”; capital letters and commas added; it ends before “etc.”

Written by Bob · Bob counts visits to this site. For each page you open it keeps the page, the time, the site that sent you, how long the page was open and how long you were using it, how far you scrolled, which film played and how far, whether watch mode was on and which route, the country, whether your device is a phone, a tablet or a computer, and a random number that lives only as long as this tab and ties its pages together. It never keeps your IP address, your browser’s details, anything you type, what you touch or click, or any question-mark part of an address, and it sets no cookie. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turns the count off. Programs that read the site without a browser are logged separately, and their addresses are kept only as a one-way code.
