“I really believe inference time UI is the next thing.”
“Every state brings user to new world.”
Film · made by Bob, 28 October 2026. The settings panel, the questions and the buttons are drawn to show the idea. The two numbers at the end are real, from Bob’s record of every menu it put to him.

Most software is built once and then used for years: the same screens, the same buttons, the same menus for everyone. Inference-time UI is the opposite. The AI makes the interface at the moment you need it, for the question in front of you, and drops it when you move on.
What it means. "Inference" is the moment an AI produces its answer. An inference-time interface is made in that moment: the options, buttons or form you see are written for this question and this person, not designed months ago for everyone. Ask about flavours and you get flavours. Ask for a rewrite and you get shorter, longer, point form. Pick one, and the next screen is made for that pick.
Why it matters to you. Your staff and your customers do not have to learn a screen. They answer the few choices that matter right now, and the next choices follow from what they picked. Fewer walls of text, fewer menus nobody opens, and every step is a decision rather than a search.
How Bob does it. Every reply Bob gives ends in a few numbered options written for that moment, and his digit is the next instruction. On his phone the same options appear as buttons. The menu is never a fixed menu: it is the interface, made fresh each time.
The real thing. Since 18 October 2026, Bob has recorded every menu it put to him: 740 menus across 87 working sessions, and 722 of them offered a set of options never offered before. Counted on Bob’s database, 28 October 2026, 08:03 Israel time; only the counts are shown, not what the menus said.
How sure. A bet he has held since mid-2025, not a settled fact about all software. In his own tools it is already how he works. Whether it replaces designed screens everywhere is still an open question.

“mine my chats i really belive inference time ui is the next thing”
“move out of screenless you get the idea but think a tight clever pormpt db with a smart grid that constantly gives 3 options on everything comptely dyntamic dependnig on topic like yes, no , give comonation options. or choc , vanila, other flavours. or longer, shorter, point form. 10% more pernonable , 20% more possitive..... every state brings user to new world”
“now current “ai intelegence” it more then good enought for this specially since everyone now has access to the worst ai intelegence that will ever have again as its getting better all the time ... llms already give back in format that was prompted in brilliantly … fast powerful cheap models perfect for inference time ui”
“I like the idea of everything being in a dynamic chat type interface that basically all the inference time UI comes inside the chat WOW this is awesome”
